History begins

Simco began when M.Christo Simitsakos opened a small butcherchop in Montreal. The business quickly developed a loyal customer base by addressing the needs of each clients, and providing attentive service. This allowed for its growth to 2 stores and a cash and carry.

90's

In the mid 90’s the company takes off and decides to invest in a 20,000 square feet poultry processing facility to serve the Canadian market.

Beginning 2000

At the very beginning of the 2000s, the company became a major player in the transformation and distribution of poultry products of all kinds. Distribution La Préférence is rapidly growing and set a place of choice among the most popular poultry distributors. The company becomes an well known employer in the region with more than 150 employees.

2000's

Later on, in 2009, the company solidifies it's position in the field of poultry in Quebec, and acquired a poultry slaughterhouse. After nearly 2 years operating, and our 20 000 square feet factory running at full capacity, the company was in a strong position to only serve the Canadian market, but grow in its exports and compete in the international market.

Present

Today Simco International, continues to grow with a diverse range of products, in the import/export field and marketing of foods items. And continue to expand to offer our clients and suppliers the best option for a successful business partnership.
